Happy Little Introvert

A beautiful and colourful embroidery of a woman with blonde hair and down cast eyes. It tells the story of a "happy little introvert', be that every day or some days. 

I created this whilst I was going through a challenging time and felt quite lonely and isolated as I journied to become more connected with myself and to become a much more authentic version of myself as I peeled back the layers I had placed on herself, or had been placed there by others.

The stitches in this work are tiny and there are thousands, from seed stitch to satin stitch and back again. This piece was lovingly hand stitched and took approxiamately 150 hours to make.
